8 FREE Fonts For Your Upcoming Designs

Best thing in Live are Free. Well Yes particularly the Web is full of great Stuff for Free! On thing i Learned last year, when i started designing Websites and take action in the Creative Scene, is that you can already fail by choosing the wrong Font in your Design. Now the Problem is, that Fonts are sometimes very expensive, special for Student like me.. with no Budget… But their some Font Artist out there who give away Full and part of Fonts for Free! Listed below are some of my favourite  Fonts for Free – enjoy

Chunk

Chunk is an ultra-bold slab serif typeface that is reminiscent of old American Western woodcuts, broadsides, and newspaper headlines. Used mainly for display, the fat block lettering is unreserved yet refined for contemporary use.

League Gothic

League Gothic is a revival of an old classic, and one of our favorite typefaces, Alternate Gothic No.1. It was originally designed by Morris Fuller Benton for the American Type Founders Company (ATF) in 1903. The company went bankrupt in 1993. And since the original typeface was created before 1923, the typeface is in the public domain.

We decided to make our own version, and contribute it to the Open Source Type Movement. It’s free, not only in price, but in freedom.

Tiza

Tiza is a font developed as a means of learning Font design software. It is inspired on the lovely slab-serif Giza . It has been recently used on the website for the Teen Choice Awards 2008… “like,OMG!”
